The Sioux Falls School District, alongside our friends at the Siouxland Libraries, launched a month-long community-wide reading initiative in March. The initiative was called “Everybody Reads.” Throughout the month of March, students, staff, parents, and community members are being encouraged to track how many books they read. The theme of this inaugural year is a tree. Each school and public library will have a paper tree trunk of sorts on display in its space. Each time a book is read, the tree will be decorated with a paper leaf decorated by the reader.  Check out how many leave our tree ended up with.
