
We get to celebrate Nurse Alison and Nurse Magen today! Nurses play a special role in schools and work diligently to keep our students and staff healthy. Thank you, Nurse Alison and Nurse Magen, for all you do!!



Mr. Jame brought his 3rd grade music class and learning outside! The students had a blast soaking in the sun and playing with the giant parachute!

Mrs. Hofer's 2nd grade students got a little surprise as they took their math lesson outside this week! Members of the Sioux Falls Police Department joined in on the learning! Thank you, SFPD, for your continued support of our schools and community!



Mrs. Saavedra's 4th graders caught a few fish on Friday as they traveled to the Outdoor Campus to celebrate their outstanding attendance over the last two weeks! Way to go!

And down the stretch they come! As we enter the final stretch of the school year, Terry Redlin Elementary celebrated with a Kentucky Derby theme day! Students and staff dressed for today's race and even had a few races of their own!










School Lunch Hero Day! We were able to celebrate Jodie (left) who is retiring at the end of the school year and Cheryl (right) who will take over for her next school year. Thank you, Jodie, Cheryl, and all breakfast/lunch staff for your dedication in serving meals to our students!


Miss Ibrahim's class earned a fishing trip this morning for their outstanding attendance. Students and staff had fun catching fish at the Outdoor Campus!











Yesterday we celebrated Mrs. Dobberpuhl on National School Principal's Day! Thank you, Mrs. Dobberpuhl for always taking care of our students and staff - you absolutely are the best!







Big News! Starting next school year, Terry Redlin Elementary will be having a PTO!


The Terry Redlin Elementary Food Pantry is open tonight, April 29th, from 4-5pm. Bring your blue ID card to door B.

Mrs. Ellens, Mrs. Schneider and 402 students worked together to solve division problems using the Kagan structure Rally Coach. One student was the coach and one student worked through the problems. They gave each other feedback on what parts they were successful and what parts they needed to improve.




Glow Party! Our students worked to earn 12,000 SOAR slips during the month of April. Students earn SOAR slips for showing self-control, being on-task, having a positive attitude, and being respectful. To reward students for meeting the goal, Terry Redlin Elementary celebrated with a glow party! Students and staff had fun with the neon colors in their classrooms! We love celebrating our students!











Thank you to Waste Management for visiting Terry Redlin Elementary today and visiting with our 2nd and 3rd grade students about recycling.






We are starting a PTO at Terry Redlin! To get the PTO up and running, there will be a Noodles for a Cause Campaign that starts next month! 50% of each order of a Noodles Bowl valued up to $15 is donated back to our school! This campaign will run from May 14th-June 12th. Gift cards will be able to be used in Sioux Falls and Rapid City as well as several locations in North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, and Nebraska (share the link with your friends). Thank you to Mrs. Saavedra's 4th graders for picking up trash around the school grounds to celebrate Earth Day!



Mrs. Hofer's second grade class is learning all about how landforms change over time. The students did an experience using water and chalk as a model to observe how landforms change.






We love our bus drivers! Thank you to all of our bus drivers for helping get our students to and from school safely.
